Sid and I are very blessed with a beautiful, intelligent, fun loving little girl! Lexie is the love of our life! We have always wanted more than one child, our family doesn't feel complete just yet. Unfortunately, due to my Lyme Disease, we can not move forward and have another biological child at this time. We have decided to move forward and adopt a child! Adoption is incredibly expensive and due to all of my medical expenses we are extremely strapped. I have created this blog where my mom and I will be sewing bags and other items from donated clothing and new fabric to sell to raise money for the adoption funds. Please take a look and consider making a purchase or donation to help our dream come true. Thank you! Much love, Julie, Sid & Lexie

Things change
I have a heavy heart as I write this. I just saw my lyme doc and learned my treatment is going to be much longer. Due to all of my medical bills, my daughters medical bills and now a totally gluten free house, we are just too broke to move forward with the adoption. We are also pending the results of my daughters labs to see if she was given lyme in utero. It's stressful to say the least in our house and we have decided to focus on the now and focus on our health and finances. That being said, the adoption is on hold indefinatly. This blog will be changed from raising adoption money to raising money for our ever growing medical bills that we can't afford. We will still be upcycling clothes and making fun things to purchase. Please check back for items! Thank you to all of my friends and family for your ever expanding support! This isn't and hasn't been an easy process. We love you all!
